Gambaran Efek Pemberian Ekstrak Tabat Barito (Ficus deltoidea Jack) Terhadap Penurunan Kadar Glukosa Mencit (Mus Musculus) Yang Diinduksi Aloksan

Diabetes Mellitus is a disease that occurs due to increased glucose levels causing complications in the body. One alternative that can be done for the treatment of diabetes is to use tabat barito extract (Ficus deltoidea Jack). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of tabat barito extract on alloxan-induced reduction of glucose levels in mice (Mus musculus). This is an experimental research type with 30 male mice which were divided into 3 groups.  The results showed that the average glucose level of mice for the group of mice given alloxan was130.3 mg/dl on the 8th day, 218.4 mg/dl on the 14th day, and 257.8 mg/dl on the 14th day. 21 and mice given alloxan and barito tabat extract 134.7 mg/dl on the 8th day, 214.6 mg/dl on the 14th day, 129.9 mg/dl on the 21st day. The results of this study showed that there was a significant effect on the glucose levels of the mice, so it could be concluded that there was an effect of the administration of tabat barito extract on the reduction of glucose levels in the diabetic mice.
